Our journey began modestly in 1915, when Mr. Arnold Wain (1894-1976) founded 'The Dental Surgery' at 3 Campbell Road – one of the very first dental practices in the area. From those early days as a single-surgery clinic, our core ethos was simple: to provide trusted, compassionate care that truly felt like family.
A significant chapter unfolded in 2005. Following Dr. Savage's retirement, Dr. Mirza took the helm as our new principal dentist. Her visionary leadership marked a period of exciting expansion. The practice grew from two surgeries to three, and she significantly broadened the spectrum of treatments available to our patients, embracing both NHS and private care. Dr. Mirza's unwavering patient-focused approach and deep commitment to excellence were instrumental in building the robust foundation for the thriving, modern practice you see today.
In 2018, Dr. Kin Parekh gracefully stepped into the role of principal dentist, honouring the practice's long-standing tradition of quality care while infusing a vibrant, fresh vision for its future. We are delighted that Dr. Mirza remains an integral part of our team as an Associate Dentist, continuing to provide dedicated NHS and private care to her loyal patient base. Dr. Kin herself is an exceptionally experienced clinician, holding qualifications from both India and the UK, with over a decade of practice spanning Scotland and England. Her passion lies in seamlessly blending clinical excellence with a genuinely gentle, patient-centered approach. As an accomplished Invisalign Comprehensive provider, she has a profound passion for helping every patient achieve their dream smile. To bolster her advanced cosmetic and restorative work, she pursued and completed a prestigious MSc in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham.
